A sliders and fries restaurant chain that just opened in Ocala last September is working on its second location in the city, which it plans to open this Spring.

Smalls Sliders celebrated its “can” drop at 7648 Southwest Hwy 200 in Ocala on January 30. The “can” refers to the shipping containers of which the restaurant is made.

The new location will be situated just south of Ellianos Coffee, which opened its first location in Ocala recently.

It is located approximately 6.6 miles from the first Smalls Sliders, which opened along State Road 200 in September.

Both locations are owned and operated by DPC Smalls Investments, which is led by Doug Cone and his son, William.

The first location opened just over four months after Ocala-News.com first announced that Smalls Sliders would be opening two new locations in Ocala.

Cone, who founded Cone Distributing in Ocala, has agreed to open multiple locations in the city and surrounding markets.

The menu at Smalls Sliders is simple. It features sliders, waffle fries, and drinks (including shakes). The sliders may be purchased in combination meals or in party packs, which come in multiples of 25.
