To the Editor:

One million dollars for a skate park? A quarter of a million dollars for time clocks? Millions of dollars for new fleet of county/city cars? Half a million dollars for new golf carts?

All the while, the SW 66th Street overpass is still one lane 7 or 8 months later. It’s no longer about our community but about the palms that are being greased by the big monies that have found their way into our community and it’s no longer for the people of the community.

I’m astounded by the overall deterioration of what once was a clean, decent, well-maintained county over the past 10 years.

It’s greed and it shows.
