On Saturday, Feb. 28, the venue will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday, March 1, the Kingdom will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To participate in the free open play sessions, visitors are required to download the Pickleball Kingdom app, create an account, and sign up for a specific time slot.

Franchise owner Tim Campbell, who previously managed large-scale revenue streams for national grocers, acquired the site last May after initially targeting a location in northwest Ocala.

The new space in southwest Ocala was formerly occupied by Conn’s HomePlus, which closed in 2024. The completed facility features 13 professional-grade indoor courts designed with outdoor court surfaces to provide a consistent playing experience.

Interior photos show the facility is fully outfitted with blue and grey court layouts, perimeter fencing for each court, and vibrant wall murals including the city’s skyline and the slogan “Life is Better with Pickleball.”

Pickleball Kingdom joins a growing number of local venues meeting the rising demand for the sport in Ocala.

The opening of the new facility comes just months after The Dink Tank opened its new pickleball facility on SW 12th Avenue.
