A mobile home park that is adjacent to the community that houses the city of Ocala’s most famous resident was just sold for $1.7 million.
The Penney Park Estates Mobile Home Park located at 1001 NE 77th Street in Ocala was sold by 1001 Park, LLC, to To Partners, LLC, for $1,700,000 on Friday, March 13.
According to state corporate records, To Partners, LLC, is owned by Louis Tapia of Rio Grande, Florida, and Judson Osbon, a realtor from Clermont, Florida.
Marion County property records show that 1001 Park LLC purchased the site from Esquire Trustee Service, LLC, in October 2020 for $412,500.
The mobile home park site is approximately 5.99 acres in size. Although it consists of 27 spaces, it is unclear how many are currently vacant. Marion County records suggest that approximately 14 of the lots are occupied.
The parcel itself is situated directly west of the southern end of the runway within Jumbolair Aviation Estates. It is less than a mile southwest of the estate inside the neighborhood owned by John Travolta.

The sale comes weeks after a Tampa-based company acquired a mobile home community near The Villages for $3 million.
In September 2024, the Ocala Sun RV Resort was sold for $13.6 million.
