A developer has plans to build another Circle K gas station at a south Marion County intersection that is just a couple miles north of a different intersection with a recently opened RaceTrac and a different Circle K.

A new Circle K planned for 13210 S U.S. Highway 301 in Belleview is currently in the planning stages. Situated just south of the Market of Marion, property records show that the 1.06-acre site is owned by Belleview Property Holdings LLC, a Wesley Chapel-based company.

Construction plans indicate that the new gas station will be approximately 6,335 square feet in size and will feature 12 fueling stations. The site will also feature 50 parking spaces, including two ADA spaces.

According to documents filed with the Marion County Development Review Committee, the plans have been under review since October, with multiple resubmissions offered by the developer since that time.

Circle K plans
A conceptual plan for the new Circle K planned for Belleview.

Although it will be the sole gas station at that particular Belleview intersection, when the new Circle K opens next year, it will join several other facilities that are situated near by.

That includes a brand new RaceTrac at the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and SE 147th Place/Sunset Harbor Road, as well as another Circle K at the same intersection.

In total, there are nearly two dozen Circle K locations in Marion County, with the vast majority concentrated in Ocala.
