A veteran construction firm and an elite equine breeding company that are creating a community of 10-acre equestrian estates have just acquired nearly 600 acres in west Marion County.

McGuire Farms South LLC sold the 599.68-acre property to Romeo Farms LLC for $6,000,000 on Friday, June 12, according to public records filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.

Property records show that the site is comprised of four parcels. It is situated just west of SW 220th Avenue and east of SW Timberlake Road, positioning it in west Marion County, near the Levy County border.

According to the developer, the site has direct access from paved roads via SW 36th Street and SW 200th Avenue.

The developer’s current project, ROMEO Luxury Farms, is a concept being brought to life through a strategic partnership between ORLANDO PRO Construction and Criadero Aniversario.

According to company documents, the two entities are blending luxury countryside living with modern wealth diversification, equestrian traditions, and real estate investment in that new community.

Ocala-News.com has not confirmed whether the newly acquired site will be developed in the same manner. The development plan for ROMEO Luxury Farms proposes to change that particular site into exclusive, individual, 10-acre country estates designed for equestrian enthusiasts. There are six estates planned for that community, each within the development is structured to offer a complete, self-contained residential and equestrian setup.

According to its website, ORLANDO PRO Construction has been responsible for constructing over one million square feet of real estate, with a portfolio stretching across Miami, Orlando, and Ocala.

Criadero Aniversario is a specialist in high-performance equine breeding, genetics, and bloodlines. The stud farm specializes in elite horses, embryos, and reproductive technologies derived from international champions.

The most recent sale is one of several large real estate transactions in Marion County this year that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars.
