A 60-acre horse farm in Dunnellon was recently sold for $2.7 million, adding to a string of high-value real estate acquisitions across Marion County this year.

Theodore J. Devlin and Julia Devlin purchased the 60-acre site from Russell and Sara Grubbs on June 23, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts on July 7.

Located at 7982 SW 140th Avenue in Dunnellon, the site features a custom-built, 3,334-square-foot home with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and an open floor plan.

Beyond the main residence, the fully fenced property is heavily equipped for equestrian activities. The grounds feature five paddocks, two large pastures, and five shade shelters.

Additionally, a center-aisle barn provides nine stalls, a full bathroom, a feed and tack room, and a wash rack. A bonus workshop with open bays and enclosed storage offers extra room for heavy equipment and horse trailers.

According to state corporate records, Theodore and Julia Devlin own White Fences Equestrian Center, a dressage boarding and show facility based in Loxahatchee, Florida.

The multi-million-dollar purchase by the Devlins continues a trend of similar, high-value real estate transactions that have occurred across in recent weeks and beyond.
