An Ocklawaha man told deputies Thursday that an armed bandit came into his home twice in the past week and stole several items.
The man, who lives in the 11400 block of SE Highway 464C, said the first burglary took place Saturday, May 5, at about 1 p.m., while the second one happened this past Thursday at approximately 10 a.m. The man said the intruder didn’t use force, as he had left his door unlocked, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report states.
The man told deputies items worth $2,250 were taken. Those include a red Honda 400 EX four-wheeler with a torn seat valued at about $1,500, a 10-foot black trailer with a drop gate that’s missing a license tag ($500), a brown .22-caliber single-shot, bolt-action shotgun ($200) and a single pump air rifle ($50).
