Two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle in Ocala on Wednesday just after 1 p.m.
When personnel from Ocala Fire Rescue Engine No. 7 arrived on scene on NE 36th Avenue, they found two victims on the ground. They immediately started treating both patients and due to their injuries, the decision was made to transport them to Florida Hospital Ocala as a precaution, a report states.
Ocala Fire Rescue’s Engine No. 5 and units from Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the incident, where no other injuries were reported.
