A Silver Springs woman is headed back to her home state of Indiana after being stopped for passing on a curve in Ocala.
Jessica Nicole Mayhew, 30, of 5792 NE 133rd Ave. Road, was pulled over at around 9:20 a.m. Sunday after a Marion County sheriff’s deputy observed her passing another vehicle on a curve at 3757 NE 70th St. A teletype search revealed Mayhew had an active warrant out of Monroe County, Indiana, according to the sheriff’s office report.
Indiana officials confirmed the warrant and advised they would extradite Mayhew, who was wanted for dangerous drugs / conspiracy to possess narcotics. She was taken to the Marion County Jail, where she was released Monday pending extradition.
