Vehicle crashes, drives 25 feet into auto parts shop in east Ocala

Ocala Fire Rescue units were called earlier today to the scene of an accident in which a pickup truck drove through a local auto parts shop.

Emergency personnel responded to Advance Discount Auto Parts, located at 2402 E Silver Springs Boulevard, in reference to a motor vehicle collision. 

Upon arriving, crews found a silver Toyota Tacoma parked inside the store. Despite the vehicle making it roughly twenty-five feet into the store, no injuries were reported.

The incident comes one day after another vehicle crashed into a home in southeast Ocala.

Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded to the incident.
