Antojitos 352 is working on a new Mexican restaurant in west Ocala, joining two other well-known establishments in the area.
The new restaurant will be located at 4271 West Silver Springs Boulevard, in the same plaza as Taqueria My Ranchito. Signs adorn the roadway and building as crews work on renovating the space. The business is taking over a location that was formerly occupied by Cheapoz.
Although the restaurant’s menu has not yet been released, the Spanish word “antojitos” translates to snacks.
Both Taqueria My Ranchito and the new Antojitos 352 are just blocks away from another well-known Mexican restaurant in Ocala, La Hacienda.
New restaurants have sprouted up all throughout Ocala over the past year.
In July, Storming Crab opened the doors on its new seafood restaurant along SW Highway 200. The business took over the southwest Ocala location formerly occupied by Ruby Tuesday’s, which closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Later this year, Mellow Mushroom, Mutiny, Symmetry Cafe, and Cantina Tex-Mex all will open locations in downtown Ocala.
