Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be heading to LongHorn Steakhouse this week for the annual Tip-a-Cop event.
On Thursday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the participating deputies will become celebrity waiters at LongHorn Steakhouse, which is located at 307 SE 17th Street in Ocala. All money raised by the deputies throughout the event will benefit Special Olympics Florida.
Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at no cost to the athlete or their caregiver.
