Evelyn “Dolores” Willard, age 89 of Crystal River, Florida (formerly of Ocala) went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was born August 11, 1932 in Lacota, Marion County, Florida to the late William Oscar Gore and Dorothy Elean Cowart.
She retired from SunTrust Bank in 1995. Dolores was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved Christ above all.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Roy Grady Willard, Sr. (II); her parents and sister, Nell Fallon.
Dolores is survived by her son Grady Willard (Lydia), daughter Donna Franklin (Allen), brother Jim Gore, sisters Zona Gail Harris and Mary Macknack; grandchildren Jennifer Clarke, Roy Willard IV, Jason Willard and Amanda Peranteau, 8 great-grandchildren and countless other nieces, nephews, family and friends who were touched by her life.
Dolores served God as a pastor’s wife, Sunday school teacher and living her life as a Godly example. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Garner, NC. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Center Baptist Church, 109 Elrod Rd., Helen, GA 30545 in memory of Dolores Willard. A Graveside Service will be at 2pm, Monday, June 13, 2022 at Barnes Cemetery, 1600 SW 87th Place, Ocala.
