The Two Rivers Music Festival and Food Truck Rally will return to Dunnellon on Saturday, October 15, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Ernie Mills Park and along E Pennsylvania Avenue in Dunnellon.
Over two decades ago, the event originated as a jazz festival called Jazz Up Dunnellon, according to the Dunnellon Chamber and Business Association. Over time, the event became a multi-genre festival, taking place in the historic district on E Pennsylvania Avenue, and sometimes on both sides of 41.
In recent years, the festival has been held on E Pennsylvania Avenue, and features four or five locations, usually with two musical acts at each location. In 2019, the food truck rally in front of Ernie Mills Park was added.
This year’s event, which is free to attend, will feature live music at five locations, with the musical genres ranging from rock and pop/top 40 to blues, country, and bluegrass. The following bands/artists are scheduled to perform during the festival:
- Ernie Mills Park:
- Liz Pennock & Dr. Blues (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- Keith Caton Blues Band (7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
- Badcock & More:
- Palomino Blonde (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- The Medicine Show (7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
- Art in Motion Dance Conservatory:
- Dent Moses (6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
- Go-for-Donuts Plaza:
- The Mudds (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- R-Style (7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
- EXIT Riverside Realty:
- Jake White (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
- Shadow Ridge (7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.).
Multiple food trucks will also be set up at Ernie Mills Park and Dunnellon Chiropractic for the duration of the festival, including Country Boyz BBQ, Miller Concessions, Krafty Kettle, Kona Ice Ocala, Old Dogs with New Tricks BBQ, Ice Cream Mustache, Pepere Joe’s Chowder Wagon, Cousins Maine Lobster, Cora’s Kitchen, Curbside Cuisine, Sabor Colombiano, and Papa’s Pork Sandwiches.
