Obituary of Theodore Clifford Houston, Sr.
Wednesday, March 29, 2023, God called Theodore Clifford Houston, Sr. home. Theodore was born February 20, 1951, in Blitchton, Florida to the late Arthur and Edith Houston.
He matriculated through the Marion County Public School and the Orange County Public School Systems. Shortly after graduating high school, Theodore enlisted into the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the military, he became an Electrician while residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
Theodore, also known as “Honey” passionately loved his children and family with his entire heart. He made sure that he provided for his children and loved ones in the best way he could.
He was preceded in by his parents and brothers Curtis L. Houston, Sr. and Robert Houston.
Mr. Theodore C. Houston, Sr. leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Tamara Houston of Los Angeles, California, Amy Pierson (Shawn) of Ocala, Florida and one son, Theodore C. Houston, Jr. of Ocala, Florida; one brother, Alphonso B. Houston, Sr. (Sheryl) of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Shirley McHellen of Ocala, Florida and Cynthia Houston of Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Sy’Ria Lawton and Dalton Harris, both of Ocala, Florida; his devoted and best friends, Joe Hester, Keith Reese and William Miller, Jr., along with a host of loving nieces and nephews, cousins & friends.
