Tina Marie Life

Tina Marie Life

Tina Marie Life (née Mammana), 53, was a person who brightened the day of anyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She had the habit of making an ordinary Tuesday feel like the best day of the year. Tina radiated beauty, both inside and out. The only attribute that rivaled her beaming smile was her loving heart. And her laugh? A sound so harmonious that it could have won a Grammy award.

Tina was born in Staten Island, New York on April 7, 1969 to Thomas and Carol Mammana (née, Carol Colligan). She was the oldest of their five children, followed thereafter by Thomas, Joel, Dana, and Carrie. Their family moved around before settling in Freehold, New Jersey, which was where Tina met the love of her life, Matthew. After a six-year courtship, they married in October of 1992. Tina and Matthew stayed in New Jersey until 2002, when they relocated their growing family to Ocala, Florida.

Over the course of their thirty-year marriage, Matthew and Tina Life had four children: Chelsea, Mason, Cameron, and Hayden. To say anything other than that Tina was the best mom who has ever existed would feel like an understatement. She was everything to her children: a confidante, mentor, cheerleader, and best friend. Tina also later welcomed Chelsea’s husband, Brandon, and Mason’s wife, Taylor, into her family with open arms.

Tina was a dedicated healthcare worker, working as a radiologic technologist and a manager of the radiology department in a career spanning over 33 years. Most recently, she worked for Ocala Health (Ocala Regional Medical Center/West Marion Community Hospital) for 21 years. Her strong work ethic and grace under pressure inspired her children to never shy away from a challenge.

Heaven gained another angel when Tina passed away on April 1, 2023. Tina was predeceased by her beloved mother, Carol, and sister, Dana.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Tina’s honor on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 8:00AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, FL 34470.

Memorial to follow at 10:00AM at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL 34470.
