Donna Lou Hayes, 71, of Ocala, Florida passed away on April 30, 2023. Donna was born in Jacksonville, Florida to June and Thomas Pauly on October 13, 1951.
She attended Bayside High School and graduated in 1969. On February 4, 1972 she married her husband of 51 years, Larry Hayes. Donna worked as a sales representative, court reporter, and insurance agent. Donna was an avid sports fan and enjoyed reading, ceramics, and playing cards. She is survived by her husband, Larry Hayes of Ocala, Florida, her son, Larry Christopher Hayes Jr. and daughter-in-law Christine Hayes of Virginia Beach, Virginia, her sister, Diane Whalen, and her four brothers: Dennis Pauly, Douglas Pauly, Damen Pauly, and Darren Pauly. Donna also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Pauly and her mother, June Beckworth Pauly.
Donna’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. As per her wishes, a private service will be held in Ocala, Florida. Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations will be handling the arrangements.
A memorial service will be held later in the year in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Details about this service will be shared at a later time.
