Lights up, volume low: Sensory-friendly screening of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem

A local theater will host a sensory-friendly screening of the recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie on Saturday, August 5.

The special screening of the film will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Regal Hollywood, which is located at 2801 SW 27th Avenue in Ocala.

The movie experience will feature a completely sensory-friendly environment with the lights turned up and the volume low. Guests will be free to express themselves by singing, walking around, talking, and dancing in the aisles.

The PG-rated film is about the Turtle brothers who set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend, April O’Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
