The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the community to identify a man who allegedly stole a camper from a local residence.
Earlier this month, the male suspect drove to a home located in the 20200 block of SE 155th Place in Umatilla, in a black Chevy pickup truck, according to MCSO.
The sheriff’s office stated that the victim’s surveillance camera recorded the male suspect backing into the yard, hitching up to an Eagles Series pull-behind camper ($3,000 value), and driving away with it.
The victim told investigators that around $100 worth of miscellaneous tools were inside the camper at the time of the theft.
