A new shop serving smoothies, açaí bowls, and fresh juices just opened its doors in Ocala.
Kwench Juice Cafe is now open at 736 NE 36th Avenue, in the Forty East Shopping Center. The new business celebrated its grand opening on Monday, December 18.
Kwench features a large variety of healthy juice and smoothie options that are made with raw, fresh ingredients. The cafe offers multiple “straight up” options of carrot, apple, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and pear.
Kwench is open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed on Sunday.
In addition to raw juices, Kwench offers juice shots and cleanses, which consist of one large smoothie and five regular-sized juices.
Owned and operated by Amber and Bryan Ward, the local Kwench is part of a franchise that includes two dozen locations across the United States and five in the state of Florida. The new location in Ocala is the first for the franchise in the region.

On Tuesday, Chick-fil-A opened its third location in Ocala along SW Highway 200.
