(UPDATE: Shortly after 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated that Jill MacDonald Wittbold has been located and is safe.)
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered 70-year-old woman who was last seen on Monday afternoon.
According to MCSO, Jill MacDonald Wittbold was last seen by her family at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11, in the front yard of her home in the 22900 block of NW 91st Court Road in Micanopy.
Jill is 5’6” tall, and she was wearing black pants and a blue shirt at the time of her disappearance.
The sheriff’s office states that Jill has medical conditions that have caused her to be non-verbal, and these conditions can also cause her to become confused.
