Two individuals were found dead by gunshot wounds in Marion County on Sunday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of SE 132nd Place in Belleview at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 21.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they located two individuals who had died from gunshot wounds.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
As of Sunday morning, all parties involved in the shooting had been identified and interviewed, according to MCSO.
The sheriff’s office says the incident appears to be isolated.
The names of the deceased individuals were not released by authorities as of Monday morning, pending notification of next of kin.
