A walking trail at a local park will close for a week to undergo resurfacing improvements.
The Jervy Gantt Recreation Complex Walking Trail (2200 SE 36th Avenue) will be closed from Thursday, April 25 to Friday, May 3.
According to the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, the walking trails will undergo improvements to replace the surface of the trails.
The trails are expected to reopen on Saturday, May 4, at 8 a.m.
Although the trail is closing, the park will remain open to visitors.
