Chick-fil-A has reopened at the Paddock Mall nearly five months after the establishment closed its doors to remodel.
The fast food restaurant reopened at the mall (3100 SW College Road) in Ocala on December 5.
The reopening comes nearly five months after the restaurant originally closed its doors on July 19, 2024.
“Thank you all for the patience and support shown during our remodel. We are now open and ready to serve,” reads a statement issued by the company through social media.

The Chick-fil-A at the mall is one of three operating in the city of Ocala.
In March, the Chick-Fil-A at 3445 SW College Road temporarily closed to undergo a remodel.
This month, the city of Ocala’s third Chick-fil-A celebrated its one-year anniversary. That establishment opened its doors last December along SW State Road 200, just south of the other two locations.

The upgrades to the Chick-fil-A at the mall follow months of renovations to various locations within the facility.
That includes the Paddock Market, which is still under construction in the former Sears.
It also includes Pandora, which opened its first pop-up location in Ocala at the mall in October, and Popeyes, which opened its new location in the mall on August 5.
BM Jewelers opened its first location at the mall at the former Go Green CBD, which moved into another location within the facility.
All of the openings came several months after Starbucks abruptly closed its location at the mall.
