A shopping plaza in east Ocala was just purchased for $3.125 million by a Georgia-based company that operates multiple self-storage facilities.

Ocala’s 14th Street Plaza was purchased for $3,125,000 by 404 Fraser Circle Holdings, LLC, on December 12. The property was sold by Ocala Square, LLC, a company that is registered to James P. Sharkey of North Carolina.

According to state corporate records, 404 Fraser Circle Holdings is registered to Leonard Olim, the founder of Big Lenny’s Storage. That company’s website shows that it has at least seven locations across the United States.

No public announcement has been made on the future of the plaza, which is located at 1007 NE 14th Street in Ocala

Each building has different commercial tenants, including Formaggio Pizza and Italian Restaurant, Big Man’s Cafe, and 14th St Liquor, among multiple others. The site also has 96 parking spaces and 261 feet of frontage on NE 14th Street.
