Nearly two years after closing its doors, the former site of O’Calahan’s Pub & Eatery has been sold to a New York-based investment group in a multimillion-dollar deal finalized on St. Patrick’s Day.
The property, located at 3155 E. Silver Springs Boulevard, was purchased by Ocala Net Holdings, LLC, a New York-based company, according to a statutory warranty deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
The sale was finalized on March 17, 2026, falling on St. Patrick’s Day. It comes just a couple months shy of two years after the Irish-themed pub ceased operations.
According to state corporate records, Ocala Net Holdings, LLC is owned by John Giardino of Massapequa, New York.
The seller, Meadows TLH Commercial LLC, originally acquired the site in late 2021. The 1.34-acre property includes the 6,700-square-foot building that previously housed the pub.
O’Calahan’s officially closed its doors on June 2, 2024, ending a multi-year run hosting live music, trivia nights, and monthly car shows.
The establishment was originally a “Tilted Kilt” franchise before owners Larry Stone, David Stone, and Larry Chauncey rebranded it as an independent pub in 2019.
The transition of O’Calahan’s, which has remained vacant for over 21 months since it closed, marks another business in transition in east Ocala.
Less than a tenth of a mile from the former pub is the shuttered Locos Bar and Grill. That space is being completely renovated by Remedy Dog Bar, which is currently staffing its new canine-friendly business.
