The owners of the World Equestrian Center have continued their expansion in Ocala with the $4.5-million purchase of another multi-acre horse farm located near their facility, right next to a 77-acre horse farm they purchased late last year for $7.5 million
Golden Ocala Equestrian Land, LLC, a corporate entity tied to the Roberts family, purchased the property at 2381 NW 100th Avenue for $4,500,000 on Tuesday, April 21. The property was sold by Wilson One Consulting, LLC.
The 14.99-acre parcel is situated just about a mile from the west portion of WEC. It features a farm with a custom, Mediterranean-inspired residence that centers around a tropical courtyard. The home offers a screened garden area featuring a pool, spa, and a massive covered kitchen equipped with a stone fireplace for year-round entertaining.

Designed as a fully equipped retreat for high-level equestrian athletes, the property boasts extensive infrastructure. This includes a main center-aisle eight-stall barn that features a tack and feed room as well as a private one-bedroom apartment.
Additional stalls are located in a secondary barn on the property to accommodate more horses. The training grounds are rounded out with a professional riding arena, a round pen, and a specialized Eurosizer horse walker.
The acquisition of the new property further consolidates the family’s land holdings near the World Equestrian Center and the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club.
In December, the family purchased the Smokey Willow Farm next door on NW 100th Avenue for $7.5 million.

The Roberts family, founders of R+L Carriers, has transformed the Ocala landscape since the 2021 opening of the World Equestrian Center.
The facility is currently undergoing a massive expansion, including the development of a new sports and entertainment complex and the recently opened Equestrian Manor and Riding Academy Hotel.
