A commercial property in southwest Ocala that previously housed a plumbing business and a tire shop has just changed hands for nearly $1.4 million.
Anthony “Tony” Mendola and his wife, Becky, sold the 0.9-acre site located at 10988 SW 94th Court in Ocala to Elevation Property Partners, LLC, for $1,395,000 on June 18, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
The site is located within the West 200 Business Park, which is situated along State Road 200 in southwest Ocala. It sits just a couple of blocks from the major roadway and is currently zoned “B5,” featuring an 11,112-square-foot building that was constructed in 1991.
State corporate records show that Elevation Property Partners, LLC, is registered to Dustin and Jennifer Vetter, who run a heating and air conditioning company based in Marion County.
Most recently, the commercial building briefly housed 200 Tires & Service, an automobile repair shop, before that business shut down. Before that, the site was used by a local plumbing business.
The commercial property sale marks yet another large real estate transaction in Marion County this year.
Just a week prior to the sale, another commercial property along West Silver Springs Boulevard was sold for just under $2.8 million.
A week prior to that, another commercial site in Belleview was sold for $3.75 million. The developer of that site plans to build a new, grocery-anchored shopping center on the property.
