Tractor Supply will officially open its fifth location in Marion County this weekend, just as detailed plans for the company’s sixth local store continue making progress through county review.

The rural lifestyle retailer will celebrate the grand opening of its new Silver Springs Shores location on Saturday, July 4. Located at 115 Bahia Ave Place, between Aldi and Caliber Car Wash, the newly completed storefront will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to welcome local shoppers.

The property for the newly constructed store was purchased by JFS Holdings LLC in June 2025 for $1.25 million from Maricamp Land LLC.

The opening expands Tractor Supply’s existing local network, which already includes operating storefronts in south Ocala, north Ocala, Dunnellon, and a Silver Springs location that debuted in March 2025.

As the Silver Springs Shores location launches, newly updated development documents reveal specific details about the company’s next expansion project in northwest Ocala, officially referred to as “Tractor Supply Blitchton.”

The 13.25-acre project site is located at 13019 N. U.S. Highway 27, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 and State Road 326.

According to submittal reports and architectural blueprints filed with the county, the facility will feature a standalone building modeled after the company’s “G+ Prototype” layout and the main retail building will span exactly 21,702 square feet.

The detailed site schematics confirm that the property will heavily feature Tractor Supply’s signature outdoor display amenities, including a 20,000-square-foot fenced outdoor display area accompanied by a dedicated live goods center.

The layout also outlines a sidewalk display zone positioned directly in front of the building, a designated space for storage trailers, a propane tank refill station secured with safety bollards, and a parking configuration accommodating 76 standard stalls and three oversized vehicle spaces.

Review records indicate that engineering and planning teams have been addressing ongoing local department guidelines, including a technical waiver request regarding fee payments in lieu of sidewalk construction along the property frontage, alongside standard 911 address and landscaping evaluations.

The steady local expansion is part of a massive national footprint for the company, which was originally founded in 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, by Charles E. Schmidt. Starting out as a mail-order business that sold tractor replacement parts to frugal farmers during the Great Depression, the retailer has since evolved into a rural lifestyle juggernaut.

Today, Tractor Supply is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, and operates more than 2,400 locations across 49 states. In Florida alone, the company now operates 105 active storefronts.
