Ocala Police officers were called to the scene of shooting late Saturday afternoon.
When officers arrived shortly before 4:30 p.m. at 1514 N Magnolia Ave., both the shooter and the victim were still in the premises, an Ocala Police Department report says.
The shooter surrendered his firearm and is fully cooperating with the investigation. The victim was trauma alerted for a single gunshot wound and was listed in critical condition, the report says, adding that the shooting still is under investigation.
