The Famous Horsey Yard Sale hosted by the Humane Society of Marion County will be held at the Tack Shack of Ocala (481 SW 60th Ave) on Saturday, June 29, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
The Humane Society will be there on Saturday from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. with animals up for adoption. Residents can bring a bag of dog food that is at least 10 pounds or more and receive $10 in store credit from the Tack Shack.
For vendors interested in selling items at the Yard Sale, the cost is $15 per carload for a 10×10 space. Vendors who set up on Saturday will receive a coupon to set up for FREE on Sunday. This money is donated to The Horse Capital Club who will be on hand selling breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, coffee, cold drinks, and snacks.
Vendor setup on Saturday is between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Vendor setup on Yard Sunday is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. There are no reservations. Set up is first come, first served.
Vendors are not permitted to sell out of trailers, trucks, or cars.
Due to space constraints and safety issues, vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, shade, and change. Spaces are 10′ x 10′ and vehicles must be moved away and parked off the property after unloading.
