Eggs Up Grill, a new breakfast restaurant with locations across the United States, opened its doors for business at Market Street at Heathbrook earlier this month.
The restaurant officially opened its doors on Jan. 20 at its new location, which is situated between Dillard’s and another restaurant looking to open later this year, Shuckin’ Shack.
Known for their breakfast and lunch specialties, the restaurant is similar in design and menu to its local competitors in Keke’s, First Watch, and Taylor’s, the restaurant that replaced Egg and I last year.
Eggs Up Grill’s menu features a variety of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options that the restaurant makes its own with various additions and twists. There are a variety of savory breakfast favorites like eggs Benedict and omelettes, including their own twist on a shrimp and grits omelette that comes with a heaping serving of bell peppers.
They even put their own spin on blueberry muffins, splitting each one down the middle before placing it on a griddle with butter. In addition to the muffins, pancakes, waffles, and other traditional breakfast sweets are also available all day long.
The business, which opened its first location just over 20 years ago, currently has locations scattered throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Eggs Up Grill joins a slate of new businesses that are filling out Market Square at Heathbrook. In October, Marshall’s opened its first location in Ocala, and later this year, Epic Theatres Ocala will open the doors on their new, state-of-the-art theater.
Eggs Up Grill is open every day from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information or to read the restaurant’s complete menu, visit the Eggs Up Grill website.
