Elevation 89 hosting ribbon cutting, grand opening celebration this month

Elevation 89 will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration later this month.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 4:30 p.m. at the new restaurant, which is located at the Ocala International Airport Terminal (1770 SW 60th Avenue). The event is free and open to the public.

The grand opening at the airport will mark the addition of the city’s newest tenant inside the general aviation terminal building, according to a press release from the city of Ocala.

The restaurant, which takes its name from the field elevation of the airport, will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Patrons from the community and guests flying into the airport can enjoy the newly established dining area.

“This restaurant is a great addition to our newly constructed airport facility and will provide additional services to guests visiting as well as the aviation community,” says Matt Grow, Ocala International Airport Director. “The Elevation 89 group has placed a lot of time and effort into making this project what it is today. From equipment installation to the seating area they have fully committed to making this project successful and we are grateful to them for being a part of our facility.”
