Ocala Police Department reported serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash on State Road 200 on Tuesday sent five people to local hospitals.
According to OPD, a red Hyundai SUV left the Red Lobster Parking lot yesterday evening and attempted to head eastbound on SR 200 when it pulled in front of two vehicles traveling westbound.
A silver Scion t-boned the red SUV, which caused the Scion to rotate counter-clockwise, moving into the path of a gray Honda.
The Honda then struck the rear of the Scion.
OPD says that five people required medical attention and were transported to the hospital.
Three people were trauma-alerted, and one person was in critical condition, according to the post.
