Ocala Recreation and Parks hosting community town hall meeting in March

The public is invited to attend an upcoming town hall meeting that will be hosted by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks department.

On Saturday, March 19, the meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center located at 1510 NW 4th Street.

During the free meeting, attendees will learn more about the recreation, parks, and cultural arts divisions within the department. The city encourages community members to attend in order to ask questions and provide feedback on various programs and events that are offered by the recreation and parks department.

Next month’s meeting will focus on the development of the Mary Sue Rich Community Center, the future of the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center, and public art in the community.

According to the city, town hall meetings will take place twice a year at E.D. Croskey Recreation Center. This year’s second meeting is scheduled on Saturday, September 17.
