The Discovery Center’s popular ‘Date Night’ series for adults is returning this week and will focus on the science behind distilleries.
On Friday, May 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., participating adults will get to experience a variety of activities during ‘Sippin’ Science’ at the Discovery Center (701 NE Sanchez Avenue in Ocala).
During the event, Master Distiller Matthew Bagdanovich of Fish Hawk Spirits will teach attendees about the distilling process. Each participant will also get to explore the Discovery Center’s animal collection, hands-on science exhibits, enjoy snacks and drinks, and more.
Tickets cost $30 per couple, and single tickets are also available for $16. The event is for adults only (ages 21 and up), and identification will be required.
