UDEST agents obtained a search warrant for the residence after they developed probable cause, and the search warrant was executed on Sunday, March 20. According to the UDEST report, agents located the following drugs inside Cobb’s residence:

  • Fentanyl (over 573 grams).
  • Crystal meth (883 grams).
  • Cocaine (91 grams).
  • Marijuana (over 391 grams).
  • Synthetic cannabinoid (23 grams).
  • Several prescription pills, including Trimethoprim (31 pills), Methocarbomal (10 pills), Tapazolf (16 pills), hydrocodone (38 grams), and Alprazolam (one pill).

In addition to drugs, the agents also seized a loaded handgun, multiple boxes and magazines of ammunition, two pill presses, scales, baggies, several bags of Inositol powder, several unused containers of Narcan, and approximately $6,000 in cash that was sorted into pre-counted stacks.

Agents interviewed Cobb and informed him that multiple drugs were found inside the residence. Cobb stated that other people periodically live inside the residence, though the UDEST report noted that he did not deny knowledge of the drugs that were seized.

A criminal history check of Cobb revealed that he had several prior felony convictions in 1996 for sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine.

On Friday, May 20, Cobb was arrested, transported to Marion County Jail, and he was later released on $462,000 bond. He is facing multiple felony charges, including armed trafficking (crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and hydrocodone); possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of marijuana and synthetic cannabinoid with intent to distribute; possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone and alprazolam); possession of a new legend drug with intent to distribute (three counts); possession of cocaine with intent to distribute; and possession of a structure for the distribution of controlled substances.

Cobb is also facing a misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A court date has not been scheduled yet, according to jail records.
