Ocala-Marion County Veterans Park hosting Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony

The Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park is preparing to host a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 30 at the park, which is located at 2601 SE Fort King Street.

The ceremony will feature the following participants: Marion County Commissioners Carl Zalak III (Master of Ceremony), Michelle Stone (Keynote Speaker), and Kathy Bryant, along with the Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band, John Earl (Bag Piper), Boy Scout Troop 72, and Marcia Muncaster.

Local high school organizations, including the Marion County Honor Guard and North Marion High School Junior ROTC, will also be in attendance.

The event is free to attend and is open to the public.
