Pamela M. Reed, age 73, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Pamela was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania on February 8, 1949 to the late Marlyn and Jeanne (Birch) Stayner.
Pam was a teacher’s aide and enjoyed working with kids. Her “Happy Place” was kayaking on the Silver River. She was on the River Patrol for 6 1/2 years. Photography, tennis and bocce ball along with the outdoors were also hobbies that gave her joy. Jerry and her owned a cabin at one point and had fond memories of their times there.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Gerald “Jerry” J. Reed; son, Chris Reed and his wife, Ali; and her four grandchildren, Emma Reed, Mackenzie Brewer, Jackson Reed and Jacob Brewer.
A visitation for Pam will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480 with a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. A committal service to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
A reception will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Silver Springs State Park (Campsite Entrance), 1425 NE 58th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34470.
