On December 2, 2022, Charles Edward “Eddie” Lane Sr., 82, of Ocala, Fla., went to be with the Lord. Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his parents, Cary Duncan Lane and Ethel Pugh Lane; his wife of 60 years, Brenda Richardson Lane; and son, Thomas Christopher Lane.
He is survived by his children, Sandra Lane Wilson (Lester) of Williamsburg, Va., Lisa Lane Chisholm (JR) of Ocala, Fla., Charles Cary Lane (Lynette) of Ruckersville, Va., and Charles Edward Lane Jr. of Ocala, Fla.; and a sister, Langhorne Mills Wilson of Williamsburg, Va. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Troy, Va., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 12 p.m. Mr. Lane was a strong supporter of missions.
