A new all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant is preparing to open its doors next month in a space along State Road 200 that was vacated by Yummy House last year.

Sushi Feast is currently undergoing renovations at 3500 SW College Road, Suite 400, in the space formerly occupied by the Chinese restaurant. The new establishment is owned by Jian H. Chen, Jr., an Ocala resident.

Ocala-News.com was given an exclusive tour of the facility by the owner last week. Interior photos of the new restaurant show a complete redesign of the former Chinese restaurant.

The updated space features modern wood-slat wall accents, new booth seating, a redesigned sushi bar area, and hanging lantern-style lamps throughout the dining room. The kitchen has also been outfitted with new commercial cooking equipment.

The restaurant will distinguish itself from others by featuring an “all-you-can-eat” sushi dining model, although specific prices have not yet been released.

Although an opening date has not yet been specified, the restaurant told Ocala-News.com that is plans to open in March.

The opening comes around nine months after Yummy House closed its location in June 2025. Although the restaurant announced that it was moving to a new establishment at 2510 SW 27th Avenue, there is currently no update on when it will reopen at that new location.

Sushi Feast joins a growing number of Japanese dining options that have opened in Ocala recently.

Over the past year, Samurai Hibachi and Ramen opened at 2606 SW 19th Avenue Road and Koto Japanese Steakhouse opened at 3811 SW College Road.
