An Ocala man found with marijuana was arrested on a probation violation on Wednesday in Marion County.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1700 block of SE 180th Avenue and arrested 19-year-old Marcus Dwayne Clanton for an active violation of probation warrant.
While conducting a search of Clanton, deputies asked if he had anything on him to which Clanton responded “yeah.” Two plastic baggies that contained green leafy substances that field tested positive for marijuana were pulled from his front pocket.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail.
