Weapons were reportedly stolen from a home in Little Lake Weir.
A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded on Thursday to a residence located on SE 142nd Place, in reference to a burglary, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the homeowner who advised that he last saw his home locked around 10 a.m. When he returned at around 12:30 p.m. he advised that he was missing two firearms from his bedroom. One firearm was a Chinese SKF valued at $500 and the other was a Winchester .22-caliber long rifle valued at $300.
