Marion County deputies were called to a home on SE 44th Avenue in Summerfield Sunday night to investigate a possible domestic battery.
When deputies arrived, a woman told them her roommates were involved in a physical altercation. The woman told deputies she didn’t see the initial argument, but she saw her female roommate through a at beer can at the male roommate.
The victim told deputies that he and the woman were arguing while sitting on a couch in the bedroom. He said the woman broke a beer bottle on the floor and then struck him in the back of his head with her fist. He said the woman threw a can of beer at him, but it didn’t strike him.
