Marion County Parks and Recreation is preparing to host an inaugural Men and Women’s Doubles Pickleball Tournament.
The double-elimination tournament will be held Saturday, May 4 from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. at Coehadjoe Park, located at 4225 NE 35th St. in Ocala. It is open to ages 18 and older and the age divisions will be 18+, 50+, 60+ and 70+.
Each $30 registration fee is due by Saturday, April 27 and includes a tournament T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place finishers. Snacks will be available for registered players (while supplies last). And there will be food, music and activities to enjoy between the matches.
