Motorists traveling along Southwest 60th Avenue will experience a temporary lane closure between the intersections of Southwest 80th Street and Southwest Highway 200 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on May 28.
Sumter Electric Cooperative (SECO) will be replacing transmission lines and distribution poles. The temporary lane closure will be in effect to allow room for SECO’s equipment to work within the right-of-way.
Message boards have been placed at the north and south ends of the project. Crews will place barricades and signs to direct traffic through the work zone. Travelers should expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. Adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may affect schedules.
