An Ocala woman found herself behind bars Monday after being picked up on an outstanding Hillsborough County warrant.
An Ocala Police officer attempted to locate 23-year-old Brooke Bynum at a residence in the 600 block of NE 18th Avenue but was told she no longer stayed there. He contacted her employer, Fairbanks Construction, and was provided with Bynum’s phone number, a police report states.
The officer then spoke with Bynum on the phone and went to her residence at 1850 SE 18th Ave., Apt. 2202, in the Deerwood Village Apartments. He confirmed the Hillsborough County warrant and Bynum was transported to the Marion County, where she was released early Tuesday morning on $2,000 bond.
