U.S. Representative Val Demmings will speak at the Democratic Women’s Club of Marion County third annual Equality Tea luncehon on Saturday, August 24.
The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Fort King Presbyterian Church (13 NE 36th Ave) and will include tea, lunch and female empowerment as the group celebrates women who bravely fought for the right to vote and today’s women who work to ensure voting rights are protected.
Guests are asked to wear white.
