The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in catching a purse thief who targeted a vehicle at a local minimart.
A man recently pulled up next to a vehicle while the victim was pumping gas at the Circle K on W. Hwy. 326. The bandit snuck over to the passenger side of the vehicle and ripped off the victim’s purse – a crime that was caught on surveillance video. The thief then took the stolen credit cards and went on a shopping spree at Zales and Hollister Co.
